Simon Allan, Founder
I was born and raised in a coastal South African city called Port Elizabeth. My father was an electrician and my fascination with all things electric began at an early age. After attending electrical trade school in South Africa I went to work as an electrician and engineer on a number of different mega-yachts all over the world. After almost a decade at sea I decided to settle in San Diego and start an electrical contracting business. Getting involved in the solar business was a natural progression and I have since been committed to staying at the forefront of the industry. We all know that the sun doesn’t shine 24/7 and if we want a future powered by renewable energy we must invest in energy storage.
