Not only is going solar the socially responsible thing to do, it’s also financially sound. The current solar rebates and tax benefits significantly reduce the cost of a PV system. Going solar protects you from rising electricity rates, and increases the overall value of your house (without raising your property taxes), all while providing you and your family with a free, clean and abundant supply of sustainable energy.
Photovoltaic (PV) systems use solar electric panels to directly convert the sun’s energy into electricity. This conversion of sunlight to electricity occurs without moving parts, is silent and pollution free in its operation. The solar electricity fed through electronic equipment is converted to utility grade electricity for use directly in the home. The solar electricity can be used to offset the need for purchased utility electricity or, if the PV electricity exceeds the home’s requirements, the excess electricity can be sent back to the utility, typically for credit.
Most residential PV systems are used in conjunction with utility-supplied power. Excess power produced during daylight hours can be fed back into the utility’s lines, while utility electricity is used in the home when the house demand is greater than can be supplied by the PV roofing. Typical residential PV systems commonly have a peak power production of between 1,200 and 5,000 watts, AC – requiring from between 150 to over 1,000 square feet of installed area depending on the efficiency of the PV technology used.
Most often, PV panels are installed on roofs, but they can also be installed as freestanding units, on a pole on the ground, or even on complex tracking structures that change with the sun’s angle during the day.
HOME EQUITY
Converting your home into a solar powered home immediately increases the overall value of your house without raising property taxes.
ENERGY INDEPENDENCE
The fact that sunlight is free and abundant gives individuals the opportunity to be their own power company. Because Photovoltaic systems allow you to generate electricity and store it for use when needed, you literally own the energy that you produce with your system. Furthermore, Photovoltaic power is an efficient technology; it creates jobs, strengthens the economy, and frees us from uncertainties and foreign oil dependence.
UPKEEP IS EASY AND MONITORING IS FUN
Rinse off your solar system 3-4 times a year to remove dust and particle accumulation, and that’s it! Spend the rest of your time watching your investment pay off. We offer web-based monitoring systems that let’s you see the amount of power your PV system is generating, monitor trends over time, ensure peak performance of your system and more – even when you’re away from home.
FINANCIAL BENEFITS
Not only is going solar the socially responsible thing to do, it’s also financially sound. Current rebate programs administered by the state pay 15-30% of the installation cost. All new homes built fall under the NSHP (New Solar Homes Partnership) which pays $2.50 / CEC installed Watt. Going solar also protects you from rising electricity rates, and it increases the overall value or your home (without raising your property taxes), all while providing you and your family with a free and abundant supply of sustainable energy. After the initial cost of your solar system all the solar power you use is free. With fossil fuel prices on the rise, solar energy is a cost effective alternative and one which we can all be proud of.
REBATES AND INCENTIVES
Rebates in California have reduced the over all cost of Solar systems, making them more affordable than ever. Rebates will decline in gradual amounts based on the total megawatts installed. If you would like to take advantage of these incentives, please don’t hesitate to call or email us to arrange for a free consultation. We would be happy to advise you on the best possible route and follow up with a free estimate for a Photovoltaic system that best suits your needs.

ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS
In addition to financial incentives, there are many environmental, economic and social advantages for going solar. The technology we use is called Photovoltaic’s (PV) and is a solar power technology that uses solar cells to convert sunlight into electricity. As PV generates electricity from light, it produces no air pollution or hazardous waste. Furthermore, it doesn’t require liquid or gaseous fuel to be transported or combusted.
DEPENDABLE ELECTRICITY
Our solar electrical installations are extremely sturdy, reliable and designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. Solar modules have no moveable parts and thus, little risk of mechanical failure or breakage. Plus, you can rest assured that your system will work effortlessly with our 10-year guarantee on workmanship and installation, and a 25-year manufacturer warranty on each solar module.
INSTALLATION PAPERWORK
Allied Energy Inc staff will take care of preparing the necessary state rebate and utility paperwork so that you can get your incentives and activate your system. We will send you complete copies of all paperwork that we file. Your Allied Energy Inc representative will contact you to arrange for signatures and payments, and will gather all necessary supporting documents.
